How the MCS-150 schedule is set
Last USDOT digit
Sets the filing month: 1 is January through 9 is September, and 0 is October.
Next-to-last digit
Sets the filing year: an odd digit means odd-numbered years; an even digit means even-numbered years.
Update window
FMCSA says an update completed during the 12 months immediately before the due date satisfies that biennial update.
